Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of the website and the products sold by Affinity Vials LLC ("Affinity Vials"). This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and applies to every visitor, account holder, and purchaser. By using the website or purchasing products, you agree to comply with this AUP.

2. Permitted Use

Products are intended exclusively for use in controlled in vitro laboratory research by qualified researchers. Permitted use means use that:

• Is limited to in vitro experimentation by a qualified researcher;
• Occurs in an appropriately equipped laboratory facility;
• Complies with all applicable federal, state, local, and institutional laws, rules, and policies;
• Does not involve administration to humans or animals;
• Does not involve compounding into consumer or pharmaceutical products;
• Does not involve resale to unauthorized persons.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the website or any product to:

3.1 Human or Animal Consumption

Administer any product to humans (including yourself) or animals through any route, including ingestion, injection, inhalation, topical application, sublingual administration, or any other route. Products are not safe for in vivo use and may cause serious harm.

3.2 Compounding

Compound, formulate, or otherwise prepare any product into a drug, dietary supplement, cosmetic, food, beverage, or other product intended for human or animal consumption.

3.3 Resale or Distribution to Minors

Resell, give, transfer, or distribute any product to any person who is under twenty-one (21) years of age, who does not meet our researcher eligibility criteria, or who is reasonably likely to use the product for non-research purposes.

3.4 Illegal Research

Conduct any research with products that violates applicable law, including without limitation the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, the Controlled Substances Act, state controlled substances laws, occupational safety laws, hazardous waste laws, or human subjects research laws.

3.5 False Credentials or Misrepresentation

Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information regarding your identity, age, qualifications, affiliation, address, payment information, or intended use of products. This includes signing up under a false name, misrepresenting your researcher status, or providing a shipping address that does not match your legitimate research site.

3.6 Unauthorized Account Access

Access or attempt to access any account other than your own, share account credentials, or allow others to use your account.

3.7 System Interference

Interfere with or attempt to interfere with the operation of the website, including but not limited to: deploying viruses or malware; conducting denial-of-service attacks; probing or scanning the website for vulnerabilities without authorization; circumventing security or authentication measures; or using automated tools to access the website except as expressly permitted.

3.8 Scraping and Data Mining

Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the website for content scraping, price monitoring, or data mining, except as may be permitted by our published API or terms.

3.9 Reverse Engineering

Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying ideas of any software or content provided through the website, except as permitted by law notwithstanding contractual restriction.

3.10 Intellectual Property Violations

Infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret, patent, or other intellectual property rights of Affinity Vials or any third party.

3.11 Harmful or Objectionable Content

Use the website to upload, transmit, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable; or to harass, threaten, or harm any other person.

3.12 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

Use the website to send spam, unsolicited marketing communications, or chain messages.

4. Researcher Verification

We may, at any time, require additional verification of your researcher status, affiliation, or intended use of products. You agree to cooperate with reasonable verification requests. Failure to provide requested information may result in order cancellation or account suspension.

5. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of activity that violates this AUP, please report it to abuse@affinityvials.com with as much detail as possible (account name, URLs, dates, supporting evidence). We treat reports confidentially to the extent reasonably possible.

6. Consequences of Violation

Violation of this AUP may result in any combination of the following at our sole discretion:

• Warning;
• Order cancellation;
• Refusal to accept future orders;
• Account suspension or termination;
• Loss of any account credits, store credit, discounts, or refunds;
• Forwarding of information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities;
• Civil action to recover damages, costs, and attorneys' fees;
• Referral for criminal prosecution where appropriate.

7. Investigations and Cooperation with Authorities

We may, but are not obligated to, investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. We may cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities, respond to lawful requests for information, and disclose information about users as required by law or as we believe necessary to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

8. No Waiver

Failure to enforce this AUP in any particular instance does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it in any other instance.

9. Modifications

We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through reasonable means.
